1. Selling Fees

Platform Commission 10%

When you make a sale, PixiPeek takes a 10% commission from the total sale price. This covers our platform services, customer support, and secure payment processing.

2. Fee Breakdown Example

Example: You sell an item for $100 CAD

  • Sale Price: $100.00
  • Platform Fee (10%): -$10.00
  • Your Earnings: $90.00

3. Payment Processing

Payment processing fees are included in our 10% commission. We use Stripe for secure payment processing. You don't pay any additional payment processing fees.

4. What's Free

  • Creating an account - Always free
  • Listing items - List unlimited items for free
  • Uploading photos and videos - Free
  • Hosting Live Shows - Free to go live and sell
  • Messaging buyers - Free communication

5. Seller Payouts

After a successful sale:

  • Funds are held until the buyer confirms receipt or the delivery window passes
  • Once released, payouts are sent to your connected bank account
  • Standard payout timing is 2-3 business days after funds are released
  • You can track all your earnings in your Seller Dashboard

6. Live Show Auctions

The same 10% commission applies to items sold through Live Show auctions. When a buyer wins an auction:

  • The final bid price is charged to the buyer automatically
  • 10% commission is deducted from your earnings
  • Payout follows the same process as regular sales

7. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are separate from our platform fees:

  • Sellers set their own shipping prices
  • Shipping revenue goes directly to sellers (no commission on shipping)
  • Buyers pay shipping at checkout

8. Taxes

Sellers are responsible for any applicable taxes on their sales. We recommend consulting with a tax professional regarding your obligations.
